Rabies and Friends

"Rabies" is the name of our finger-puppet mouse, who we adopted (bought) last year at the gift shop at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Rabies has become a favorite mouse, and therefore gets a lot of attention and stuff. Above, you can see the PIRATE SHIP that Isaac made for Rabies. Isaac took this photo himself.
Liking Rabies as much as he does, on our next trip to the Smokies, we decided to get another mouse, and named him Scabies. From there, the pattern has continued. The most recent mouse is called Spraybies.
As a parallel story, Isaac enjoys tracing dollar bills and also making up his own. He has designed a whole series of MOUSE-MONEY including a ten dollar bill that features Spraybies.
Here is a picture of Spraybies, a mouse who has become famous enough to have his picture on the MOUSE ten dollar bill. But even better than the front, is the back:
Here in the US, just as human money features buildings and memorials on the back of the bill, MOUSE money does too. Here is the "house" (or hole) where Spraybies lives!!!
Here is the the famous 100 dollar bill. Of course none other than Rabies himself is on that one. And check out the back of his bill! His house is REALLY nice!!
Here is the house where Rabies lives. This is living at its best!
